The "One-Word Story" is one of the easiest games to run because the rules are simple, but the results are usually chaotic and funny.

The Basic Rules
  1. One Word Only: Each participant can only post one word per turn.
  2. Sentence Flow: Your word must follow the previous word to help build a coherent (or semi-coherent) sentence.
  3. No Double Posting: You cannot reply to yourself. You must wait for at least one other person to post before you can add another word.
  4. Punctuation: Usually, punctuation (periods, commas, question marks) is included with your word or counts as your "turn" for that post.

Title: Once Upon a Forum
Instructions:
Let’s write a story together, one word at a time!
  • Post only one word per post.
  • Wait for someone else to post before you go again.
  • Try to make it make sense (sort of).
  • If and when the story ends a new story can be started by the next person to post with a title and first word.
I’ll start: Once...
