"Two Truths and a Lie" is a popular icebreaker game where a player presents three statements about themselves: two are true facts, and one is a lie. The goal of other participants is to identify the false statement through questioning and deduction. It is widely used for building social connections, critical thinking, and communication skills.

How to Play:
  • Start a Thread: A player starts a post sharing three numbered statements.
  • Submit Guesses: Other participants reply with which number they believe is the lie.
  • Reveal the Lie: The original poster reveals the lie and sets a new turn.
  • Goal: The goal is to make the lie convincing and uncover the truth behind the statements.

Tips for Creating Statements:
  • Keep it believable: Make all three statements sound plausible to fool others.
  • Mix up the order: Do not always make the last statement the lie.
  • Use personal, interesting facts: Think about travels, unique experiences, or uncommon talents.

Example Statements:
  • I have traveled to over 30 countries.
  • I am allergic to the cold.
  • I once met a famous celebrity in a coffee shop.
